At the beginning of the book, the author wrote a prefance that I think means that as long that there is problems there should be good people. Thats what i think it means but im sure i got it wrong

It was a normal day Jose was in school he tried his best to do good in school his father sadley passed away in a car accident he only had a mom and his mom was everything to him. When school was over he walked home, when he arrived home his mom wasnt home it was normal for him since his mom had to jobs. My Big Question

My big question is why dose popularity mean so much for this generation? And is it because they just want to look good in front of everyone else? Or are they actually being them selves? I just dont get it?

Kind of books I like

The books I like to read are action with comedy becasue it really makes me interested into the book and really like some books with drama for example the series of bluford books but if I can I may choose one of those books.
